February Reading

I succeeded in reading my four books in January although when I finished them I decided to read 253 by Geoff Ryman instead of Do Andriods Dream Of Electric Sheep. It seemed a more appropriate choice when I was going to be reading it on a train.

I have dutifully written up my thoughts of them all in my little writing journal and even written a line or two on some of them on my GoodReads profile.

Talking of GoodReads, I have also decided to have another go at the reading challenge on there. Last year I struggled to make my target of reading 15 books in the year. Which was pathetic for me – I used to read that many in a couple of months – and reflected how much of a rubbish year I was having mental-health-wise. But as I am feeling much brighter and more positive this year I have challenged myself to read 30 before the end of 2012. I am trying to squeeze in as much as I can before Summer though as my Olympic Adventures may well eat into my reading time come August and September. (I am so excited/terrified about that. Still.)

Now for February. This month I am hoping to finish/read the following books:

253 by Geoff Ryman
Storm Warning by Jack Higgins
Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick

And if I manage to get through all of those I will start The Demon’s Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan.

What Are You Reading? – September

I’m off on holiday for a week of this month and I doubt that I will get much reading done then – so don’t hold me to getting all these read. Did well last month though and read the lot! (remember – clicking the cover takes you to the book summary if it takes your fancy)

(I saw the dramatisation of Impossible God, performed by the author himself, back at Easter & am interested to see how the book compares)
