Shut your eyes and close your mind

Love and like aren’t far apart -

it’s not too hard to break a heart;

And in the night, when sweet you dream,

remember things aren’t all they seem.

So shut your eyes and close your mind

and leave these foolish thoughts behind.

For when a friend loves you a little too much.
